Olga Lorencin-Northrup: Nothing new and truly innovative this year…just more gimmicks.  For example, home color therapy devices, home micro-dermabrasions (they can actually hurt you) and the continual promotion of oxygen machines. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

BU: Which 10 products should every beauty cabinet contain?

OLN: I think if you need 10 products you have been a little over sold. You need a cleanser, sometimes even two for morning and night, toner only for specific skin type.  I like antioxidant serums for morning, alpha hydroxy products for night, eye cream moisturizer and sun block.

BU: Which are your favorite drugstore beauty products?

OLN:  Nivea body wash and ROC eye cream.

BU: Which high-end products do you really think are worth the price?

OLN: So many that I think I couldn’t possibly list here. Skinceuticals, IS Clinical, etc…

BU: Which are the signature treatments at Kinara?
