It seems there’s no reason to spend a lot of money on make-up.  Just look at this gorgeous picture of Ali Larter.  All the make-up is by Mark, a company of Avon.   So we consulted with Hollywood makeup artist, Mai Quynh to get some tips on how she does it.  She plays make-up with everyone from Larter to Renee Zellweger to Miley Cyrus.   Here’s how she pulled off this look. Most of the products are under $7.  Mai says always starts with Mark Calm & Composed Moisturizer – “It leaves the skin dewy and fresh which Ali loves.”
Foundation:  Mark Face Xpert in Natural using the Foundation brush. $9
Cheeks: Mark’s Just pinched Cream Blush in Nude  $7
Eyes: Mark’s Long-wear Pencil in solid gold $6 to rim the bottom of her eyes. Mai says “It really makes the eyes pop.”  Next she lined the top lid with Mark’s new Eye Pencil in Jet Set $6.50.
Shadow: Mixed I-Mark shadows in Corset and Java $4.50 and applied them on her lids using the All Over Eye Shadow Brush. She layered these two shadows on top of the eyeliner.  Then blended the shadows into the crease using the Angled Contour Eye Shadow Brush.
Mascara: Mark’s Make It Big Mascara ($6.50) in Raven-using two coats.
Lips: Mark’s Dew Drenched in Skinny Dip and layered Mark’s Juice Gem in Fig. $6
