What kind of makeup do you wear with sexy lingerie?  You don’t want it to be too over-the-top!   That would be like wearing a short skirt and revealing major cleavage at the same time!    At the La Perla show (during fashion week) they got it just right!  The makeup was at once sexy, yet sophisticated.   So at Beauty Undercover we were determined to find out who pulled it off.

Hourglass lead makeup artist, Michael Pierce was going for vintage shades, which evoked the 40s Hollywood silver screen sirens.   All the models were sporting a gorgeous red lipstick by Hourglass (which will hit stores in August) called, Raven.   “The focus is on a gorgeous, strong red lip, but a red that every woman can wear,” said Pierce of the makeup he did for the La Perla show.  ”To add to this look, the eyes are light with tight black eyeliner.”  The eyeliner is called Calligraphy and is a brilliant, user friendly liquid liner.  Perfect for day or after dark!
