You often hear men say if you want to know what a woman will look like later in life all you need to do is meet her mother. It seems that may be true according to new research that shows a woman’s body shape tends to resemble that of her mother, rather than her father. When University College London researchers studied more than 4,000 families, they found, perhaps not surprisingly, that overweight parents were more to likely to have overweight children. And the bigger the parents were, the bigger their sons and daughters. Researcher Professor Jane Wardle said: ‘If both parents are overweight then it is twice as likely that the children will be overweight. If they are obese then it is 12 times as likely and if the parents are severely obese then it is 22 times as likely. Read more.
This is absolutely not true. My mother was 98 lbs soaking wet and had no butt hips or anything.
I am 36, have a huge butt, huge hips and thighs and weight 164lbs on a good day (size 14). I take after my FATHER not my mother.
