The above photos are part of a virtual makeover done by Marks and Spencer.  You just upload a photo and see what works.  Even Kate Middleton was part of the act…well, sort of.  This unauthorized makeover of Kate Middleton is an example of how it works.   Her natural style and elegance has established her as one of our favorite style icons but what would happen if she put on a little more makeup?  Does she really need more makeup? You decide.

    that looks awful…

  2. Rachel says:

She’s naturally beautiful!!! Doesn’t need all that clown makeup!

  3. Mamavalveeta03 says:

YIKES!!! Leave her alone–she’s gorgeous as is.

  4. ashley says:

agreed ~ she is so beautiful as is ~ that makeup is way too extreme for her.

  5. April D. says:

I agree, with what they put on her it’s too garish and makes her look like a clown. She is naturally beautiful. A little more lip color for an evening out is all that “might” be needed on occasion, but she shines just the way she is!

  6. Iris says:

The ‘after’s are awful. What were they thinking?

  7. Elaine Enochs says:

too much. she is naturally beautiful.

  8. RedRose says:

Kate is gorgeous. I’d like to see her wear a tad more makeup, but then went far overboard.

  9. Heather says:

Kate wears *plenty* of makeup: enough to enhance her natural beauty but NOT leave her looking like a clown. The ‘after’ shots are awful enough to make me never consider the makeup line, or anyone associated with the ad campaign! Was this computer-generated, and there was nobody to sign off on this before it was published?

  10. she is naturally beautiful as she is… doesn’t need all the excess!

  11. ewhatley says:

She’s so beautiful I thought it would be impossible to make her look bad but these “afters” accomplish that. Thankfully they’re not real. Her real look is perfect.

  12. Judy says:

No, no, no! She looks better without it!
