THE UNDERCOVER PREVIEW: FENTY BEAUTY

 

Launching this fall, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty is already causing a stir.  The superstar posted sneak peeks from the upcoming collection on Instagram this week.  Most notably is the Hologram lipstick (pictured above, left), which debuted last fall on the Fenty x Puma Spring 2017 runway during Paris Fashion Week.  According to the post, “This holographic lip color is set to be the first product released under the long-awaited makeup label Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. This product will be available to purchase at Sephora stores this fall. Stay tuned for more.”  Fenty Beauty is a division of Kendo Brands, which is the parent company for Marc Jacobs Beauty, Bite Beauty, Kat Von D Beauty, and Ole Henriksen.  According to Chief Executive Officer, David Suliteanu, who spoke with WWD in April, “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience. We are aiming for the stars.”
