We are loving NBC’s new musical hit, Smash, these days — especially the return of Debra Messing! We asked celebrity makeup artist, Jeannia Robinette, about Debra’s look at a recent award’s show. According to Robinette, “we made it all about glamorous eyes, and accentuated them with a shiny, natural nude gloss on the lips.”
To get that super-smoky look, first Robinette rimmed the inner eye rims with tarte’s emphasisEYES high-definition inner rim eyeliner pencil in black. Then she layered the lash line with smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof liner in golden black and then olive. Next she applied cream shadow in shimmering moss, followed by two coats of mascara. To highlight, she finished with the bright side double-ended eye brightener.
