THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF BEAUTY!
Several weeks ago, we featured an expensive mascara asked our Undercover Agents to share which beauty products were worth (and not worth!) breaking the bank. We learned about some great bargain products and got good feedback on our SWAG program. As Deborah said, “It is so great to try a product at a steal to see how it works before paying the full price.” Here’s a roundup, by product-type of, the highs and lows of beauty.
Makeup: Dyane loves her Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Highlighter Stick, while Colleen splurges on NARS’s Albatross. Bonnie substitutes Milani’s Luminoso blush for NARS’s cult-favorite, Orgasm, and Liz multitasks with Sunday Riley’s Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer. Dorothy picks up her Jordana mascara at the drugstore while Diane never uses drugstore brands, “because it can do so much damage to the eyes.” That must be why Harriet and Cindy wink with Lancome’s Hypnose Doll Lashes and Claire lashes out with Armani’s Eyes To Kill Set. Angela’s favorite find is COVERGIRL + Olay Tone Rehab 2-In-1 Foundation, but Stephanie is willing to pay up for her Clé de Peau concealer. Rhonda pines for Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation and Lynda blows the bank on her Lancome Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup; yet, she, and many others (Janet, K, Carolyn, Jennifer, and Wendy) are happy to nab their staples from drugstore brand, Eyes Lips Face (E.L.F.).

So how does this working-mother stay gorgeous? We got an exclusive peek inside her makeup bag, which includes both department store and drugstore brands.
Department Store Brands: Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder, MAC Mineralize Blush (Dainty) & Eye Kohl (Powersurge), Nars The Multiple (Maui), Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer (a mixture of Sx2 and Sx4)
