Vanderpump Rules star, Stassi Schroeder, embraces real beauty.  Posting an underboob image from a recent photo shoot on Instagram, the reality diva gave her followers an extra dose of reality:  visible scars from a 2015 breast reduction and lift.  The 29 year old host of the Straight Up with Stassi podcast is upfront about her body.  During the photo shoot in question,  “I was like ‘Don’t edit out my scars.’ They’re awesome. I like being myself and I feel that everyone should embrace themselves,” she shared with People Magazine. “It’s a scar! Scars are pretty! It’s almost like a birthmark or something like that where it’s something to not be ashamed of.”

Jennifer Garner has graced the cover of many magazines; however, we suspect that she will not be posing for People Magazine anytime soon.  The actress has issued a public statement disavowing the publication’s most recent issue, which alleges that Garner is having a difficult time moving on after her split from Ben Affleck.  Speaking frankly to her fans via Facebook, she shares that while the article is not really a “tragedy,” it does, in fact, affect her family. “I wanted to set the record straight:  I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorize this article. While we are here, for what it’s worth: I have three wonderful kids and my family is complete.”  Wishing her followers a beautiful day, Garner’s message was short, sweet, and real.  Truth is beautiful.  Brava!

Posing for photographer Annie Leibovitz, on the cover of Vanity Fair, comedienne, Amy Schumer, is redefining beauty.  The actress/writer/producer, clad in a red corset and matching panties, is just as glamorous as the pin-ups popular in 1950’s Americana.  And why not?  Schumer,34, has enjoyed a banner year.  Since 2015, she has graced the cover of many publications, been named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People, and even one of People’s 100 Most Beautiful.  But posing scantily-clad for Leibovitz is not a one-and-done for Schumer.  Who can forget her appearance in the Pirelli Calendar?  We applaud the super-smart, talented beauty for making room for a new kind of beauty … the unapologetic and relatable kind!
