Over the weekend, Lady Gaga showed off her Coachella (Weekend Two) makeup test.  Created by Sarah Tanno, the look featured floral facial tattoos, drawn free-hand in makeup.  Asking her fans to show their version of the designs, “Can’t wait to sing for you and see all your looks!!,” she must have been disappointed by the tepid response.  What do you think?  Is the floral facial tattoo here to stay?  #gagachella

At the 2015 Grammy Awards, Best Traditional Pop Vocals winner, Lady Gaga, sparkled with her stunning silver Brandon Maxwell custom gown.   Inspired by the dress, celebrity makeup artist Sarah Tanno, chose smokey metallics and a radiant, peach glow to create Gaga’s “modern” look.  Now you, too, can steal her style!

For Gaga’s radiant, soft, peach glow, Tanno prepped the singer’s skin with a brightening mask, followed by NEW Shiseido Bio-Performance Glow Revival Serum and a heavy-duty moisturizer.  She then applied Shiseido Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF 17, blending “from the center of the face out.”   To brighten Gaga’s under-eyes, Tanno used Shiseido Sheer Eye Zone Corrector in Natural and generously applied translucent powder.  To contour Gaga’s cheeks, Tanno used Shiseido Bronzer in Medium, and gently blended Shiseido MAQuillAGE Dramatic Mood Veil Blush in RD100, into the cheeks create a “healthy, soft peach glow.”

For the modern, metallic smokey eye, Tanno  opted for a range of cream shadows for their “soft, metallic shimmer” that “blend wonderfully to give her eyes that smokey edge.”  She first applied Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color in Tin all over the lids and accentuated the inner corners of the eyes with Mist.  Next she smudged Caviar on the outer corners of the lids and into the lash line “to create depth.” The cream shadows were then set with Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio in Lido.  Tanno heavily applied black liner all around the eyes and blended throughout and finished with two coats of black mascara.
