When he is not running his chic Prive Salon and Products line, hair stylist, Laurent Dufourg, is busy working with his celebrity clientele (Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow are among them) and fashion designer-friends throughout the country. During Fashion Week he created romantic waves for Stephen Burrows’ runway and a messy top bun for the girls at Olcay Gulsen. To implement the all-natural wave trend at Burrows, Duforg first sprayed some of Prive’s Flash Brilliance throughout the hair and then blew it out straight. Once dry, he took a one-inch curling iron to create the large, soft, touchable waves which held by applying the line’s Finishing Texture Hair Spray. To get the look for Gulsen, Dufourg parted hair into sections and added volume through a texturizing spray or dry shampoo. With his fingers, he worked the hair into a high ponytail and teased the mane with a wide tooth comb before wrapping it around the base to create a wide bun. After roughing up the rest of the hair (to get a fly away look), he sealed the look with Prive’s Firm Hold Hair Spray.
