Returning to its roots after only one year, Playboy Magazine, is back in the nudity game.  In a post published Monday on its website, Cooper Hefner, son of Playboy‘s founder and the publication’s chief creative officer, shared the brand’s new philosophy.  “I’ll be the first to admit that the way in which the magazine portrayed nudity was dated, but removing it entirely was a mistake,” he shared.  “Nudity was never the problem because nudity isn’t a problem. Today, we’re taking our identity back and reclaiming who we are.”
So who are they?  Playboy is a lifestyle brand focused on men’s interests, explains Hefner; however, we noticed that the moniker, “Entertainment for Men,” has been removed from its cover.  The publication seems to have taken on a more gender-neutral form and the upcoming issue, which hits newsstands on February 28, it does not feature a single full-frontal nude.
