CONFIDENCE (AND FAITH) IN AGING!

Preparing for her first arena tour in ten years, the 70-city, Soul2Soul The World Tour 2017 with husband, Tim McGraw, wife, mother, and country superstar, Faith Hill, certainly knows the meaning of hard work.  Since releasing her first album in 1993, Hill has sold more than thirty million albums, earned twelve Country Music Awards and four American Music Awards.  But touring, “no matter who you are, it takes a lot out of you. It really takes a toll. The show alone is so physically challenging because there’s a lot involved, and then you’re singing on top of it,” she shares in an interview with New Beauty.  As the There You’ll Be chanteuse approaches 50 this September, she takes a rather laid-back approach to aging.  “I honestly don’t pay attention to it. If I did, my girls would notice and I don’t want that. It’s not a message I want them to have. The secret is being confident—with your age, with yourself.”  Hill’s three teenage daughters (Gracie, 19, Maggie, 18, and Audrey, 15), love wearing makeup.  “My girls have a better beauty regimen than I do. I don’t know where they get it from. I look like a clown when I do eyeliner!” Hill, who credits happiness for keeping her skin rosy, prefers to wear no makeup and her hair tied back.  McGraw appreciates his wife’s natural look, however, “Before I put it up in my ponytail, he always tells me to wear it down because it’s his favorite.”
