LEGAL BRIEFS: INVASIX AND INMODE PREVAIL OVER SYNERON SUIT

On January 28, 2016, Syneron brought an action for patent infringement against Invasix, Inc. and InMode MD, Ltd. in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.  In the case, referred to as Syneron Medical Ltd. v. Invasix, Inc., et al, the plaintiff alleged that the defendants’ Fractora face and skin treatment platforms, devices, and methods infringed upon Syneron’s U.S. Patents.  Just last month, a federal district court ruled in favor of InMode Ltd. and Invasix Inc., invalidating all asserted claims of four patents of Syneron Medical Ltd. asserted against the InMode Fractora device.
