IRINA SHAYK RETURNS TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE

Marc Jacobs Beauty has named Irina Shayk the face of its 2019 campaign, launching January 14th at Sephora Russia.  Shot by David Sims, Shayk appears in a turban wearing the brand’s Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Glambition, Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon in Mist Me and (Grape)Vine, with Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara. Katie Grand served as Creative Director for the campaign, with makeup by Diane Kendal and hair by Guido Palau.

Irina joins iconic women such as Jessica Lange, Edie Campbell, Winona Ryder, Aya Jones, Kaia Gerber, Adwoa Aboah, and Lila Moss, who have been, and also currently are, serving as faces of the brand.

“I’ve loved and admired Marc for his wonderful fashions and overarching vision of beauty. it’s such an honor to represent marc jacobs beauty in my home country,” Shayk exclaimed in a press release.

INTRODUCING LILA MOSS!

Lila Moss, daughter of legendary model, Kate Moss, has been announced as the newest face of Marc Jacobs Beauty for 2019.  Moss’s first campaign will debut this month in the Harvey Nichols, the brand’s new exclusive retail partner in the UK and Ireland.   Lila joins iconic women such as Jessica Lange, Edie Campbell, Winona Ryder, Aya Jones, Kaia Gerber and Adwoa Aboah, who have previously served as faces of the brand.

The campaign was shot by David Sims with creative direction by Katie Grand, makeup by Diane Kendal, and hair by Guido Palau. In the lead campaign image, Moss wears Fineliner Ultra-Skinny gel eye crayon in (grape)vine, one of five brand new, limited-edition colors debuting for spring 2019.

A FAREWELL TO CHRISTOPHER BAILEY!

Saturday night Burberry celebrated “Time,” Christopher Bailey’s final collection for the brand, against a multisensory installation that forms part of a new collaboration with United Visual Artists (UVA) before more than 1300 guests.  Familiar faces included Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Keira Knightley, Zendaya Coleman, Naomi Watts, Michelle Dockery, Naomie Harris, Lily James, Kate Mara, Idris Elba, Paris Jackson, Nicholas Hoult, Poppy Delevingne, Jamie Bell, Daphne Guinness, and Steve McQueen.

Models including past and present campaign stars Adwoa Aboah, Jean Campbell, Montell Martin and Edie Campbell – who appeared in her first Burberry campaign in 2006 – revealed the collection, which revisited past icons and house codes, including the trench coat, the aviator, the cape, the poncho and the military coat as well as introduced new designs. Cara Delevingne, discovered by Christopher and Burberry over seven years ago, closed the show and led the finale as models walked under a spectrum of rainbow laser lights.
