Model Ashley Graham has snagged her first beauty contract, signing on as a Revlon Global Ambassador and serving as one of the faces of its new Live Boldly campaign.  In addition to Graham, the brand introduced three additional new Global Ambassadors, Adwoa Aboah, Imaan Hammam, and Raquel Zimmermann.  These models were chosen to represent Revlon’s new campaign platform because they embody what it is to “Live Boldly.”  They join international actress and recently-named Global Ambassador, Gal Gadot.  Revlon’s Live Boldly multi-media platform leverages social, digital and in-person interactions to engage, support and empower women through community building, catalytic experiences, and inspiring conversations.

As a top model and advocate, Graham has used her celebrity and voice to challenge conventional perceptions and inspire women everywhere. Speaking candidly with WWD, Graham confessed, “Historically, curvy girls are not given beauty contacts.  It’s kind of groundbreaking, because in my generation of models, this hasn’t happened yet. This is one of those moments where I’m over the moon, I cried a little.”  Announcing her new role on Instagram, Graham continued, “So thrilled to join the @Revlon family as we continue to show #BeautyBeyondsize.”  Living boldly is Graham’s mantra.  “Every day in the mirror I say to myself, ‘I am bold, I am brilliant, I am beautiful,’ and together with Revlon, we can inspire all women to do the same.”   (more…)
