The holiday travel season is almost here, which means potentially bad news for our skin. Enduring recirculating airplane air or forgoing your favorite facial serum will sadly provide our complexions with a rather rude awakening. Dr. Michele J. Farber of Dr. Michele J. Farber dispenses some travel-friendly skincare tips to ensure that our skin will look glowing and gorgeous upon arrival.
- Travel is a time when you want to keep your essentials – moisturizer, under eye cream — but back off on harsher products. It is ok to skip your retinol cream for a few days while you’re away to prevent dryness.
- Pack some travel-sized containers of your face wash, moisturizer, and sunscreen. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser is a great gentle wash for sensitive or acne-prone skin. Also pack a moisturizer, such as Neutrogena Hydroboost, in your carry-on and apply before take off as well as another application during your flight to combat dryness.
