Aside from her beauty, Chrissy Teigen is known for her self-deprecating sense of humor and incredible candor.  According to the publication, Birdie, the model and wife of John Legend, recently spoke with several beauty editors during a launch party for her new Becca Cosmetics makeup palette.  When complimented on her beautiful cheeks, she responded, “Everything about me is fake except my cheeks.” Then the multi-hyphenate proceeded to point at her forehead, nose, lips, and teeth, saying “Fake, fake, fake.”  Later, when asked about the oddest beauty procedure she had ever experienced, Teigen revealed that nearly nine years ago she had undergone liposuction to remove fat from under her arms.  “I had my armpit sucked out … It added two inches of length to my arms,” she confessed.  While Teigen, 31, clearly is not shy about talking about her enhancements (unlike most Hollywood beauties) she also expresses no regret, “[That fat] is coming back though, so I might need to go in and pay for it again.”

Thank you, Chrissy, for sharing!  This makes you even more beautiful — inside and out!

Celebrity makeup artist Tarryn Feldman and celebrity hairstylist Kristen Carbine styled Maddie & Tae, nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year, for Sunday’s 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards. The Nashville Glam stylists reveal how they created each of their looks step by step.

For Maddie’s red carpet makeup, Tarryn chose a clean and  fresh look, as not to compete with her fuscia statement gown.  “She already has such beautiful skin so I wanted it to show and not cover it up with too much glam,” Tarryn shares.   She began with BECCA’s Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation because it is “sheer and glowy.” For some extra shimmer, she applied layers of Makeup Revolution USA’s Blush Queen Palette, which is a mixture of matte, shimmer, and baked merged powders.  For Maddie’s eyes, Tarryn kept the look clean, but applied “lots of lash and neutral lip to tie everything together.”

To style Taye’s wrapped updo, Kristen first spritzed Oribe’s Maximista Thickening Spray on wet hair and rough dried with the Bio Ionic 10X Ultralight Speed Dryer.  Creating a slight bend in the hair with CHI’s G2 1″ Ceramic and Titanium Digital Hairstyling Iron, she  sectioned off pieces of hair before backcombing the roots all over the crown. Next she applied a combination of CHI Dry Shampoo with Kevin Murphy HAIR.RESORT for texture, gathering all of the hair into a high messy bun. “When you pull the hair into the bun, leave the ends flowing out in the back,” she suggests. She pulled down the whispers to frame the face, securing with CHI Spray Wax, giving it a ” city swept” look.  Adding a funky hair accessory under the bun before securing with bobby pins, Kristen finished the look with CHI Enviro 54 Hairspray.
