Even natural beauties, like Heidi Klum, know when to call in the glam squad. In preparation for Monday’s Emmy Awards, Klum enlisted the expertise of superstar hairdresser, Lorenzo Martin, celebrity makeup artist, Linda Hay, and nail artist, Tom Bachik to get red carpet ready! Bachik used a custom mixed nude on Klum’s manicure, while Hay chose from a plethora of Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics. Walking the press line, dressed in a stunning, nude Zac Posen gown, Klum simply glowed. To see how she got her look, click on the video below.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Tasha Brown worked with bareMinerals Power of Good Ambassador, actress Letitia Wright, for Monday night’s Emmy Awards. Brown was inspired by Wright’s gorgeous Pamela Rowland gown, and used peachy and bronze tones to keep her looking ethereal to match her dress. Tasha added soft, arched brows and golden eyeshadow with a natural skin finish, added glowing shimmery highlights on the cheekbones and eye lids.
Brown primed Wright’s clean skin with bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Defense Radian Protective Veil with SPF and then applied the brand’s Original Loose Powder Foundation with SPF 15 in Golden Dark, using tapping motion through the center of the face for light coverage. She then used a sheer layer of Barepro Glow Highlighter in Fierce to highlight the tops of Wright’s cheekbones, center of nose and chin for a bit of glow and dimension. To add a flush of color, Brown lightly dusted Gen Nude Powder Blush in That Peach Tho along hairline, temples, and cheeks.
For Wright’s dreamy eyes, Brown applied the deep bronze tones of the Gen Nude Eyeshadow Palette in Neutral all over the eyelid to better complement the color of her gown. Then she completed the look with Wright’s beautiful lips, forgoing traditional liner “for a softer edge to the lips,” and applying Gen Nude Buttercream Lip Gloss in Flirt.
The 2017 Emmy Awards were marked by a return to Hollywood glamour. While Stephen Colbert’s musical opening number entertained us and Sterling K. Brown’s speech moved us, the red carpet’s elegance really wowed us with exquisite hair, makeup, and wardrobe. Some of our favorite looks came from (clockwise from top left) Zoë Kravitz in Dior Haute Couture, Michelle Pfeiffer in Oscar de la Renta, Nicole Kidman in Calvin Klein by Appointment, Susan Kelechi Watson in Christina Ottaviano, Jessica Biel in Ralph & Russo, Evan Rachel Wood in Jeremy Scott for Moschino, Thandie Newton in Jason Wu, and Yara Shahidi in Prada. Which were yours?
