BURBERRY BEAUTY: IRIS LAW!

Monday, January 16th, 2017
Iris Law, daughter of actors Jude Law and Sadie Frost, was named the face of Burberry Beauty on Monday.  The sixteen-year-old stunner will be the face of the line’s new Liquid Lip Velvet.  Speaking with Vanity Fair, the fair-eyed model exclaimed, “Burberry is such an iconic British brand, and it’s an honor to be part of the Burberry family and to be starring in a global campaign for them.”
Law’s makeup routine is rather simple and includes balm, sheer concealer, powder, blusher, mascara, contour stick, and some liquid lip colors; Oxblood and Bright Plum Liquid Lip Velvet shades are her favorites. “I apply it to the middle of my bottom lip and use my finger to move the tint across my lips so that the coverage is light. The color of Liquid Lip Velvet is strong, so you can vary how much you want to apply.”
Law joins models Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Jordan Dunn, Lily Donaldson, Lily James, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in representing Burberry Beauty.

TREND ALERT: THE RETURN OF THE TURBAN!

Turban Style
In spite of her demure style (a simple black lace Atelier Versace dress paired with nude Jimmy Choos), Amal Clooney turned heads during her meeting with Pope Francis on Sunday.  The human rights attorney, 38, accompanied husband, George Clooney, as he, Richard Gere, and Salma Hayek were awarded medals for their work with the pontiff’s Scholas Occurrentes, an organization that connects technology with arts and sports.  In spite of the Vatican’s pious atmosphere, it was Amal’s chic, simple, black turban that received great attention.
The turban, a staple of the 70’s, has been seeing a comeback, since it was prominently featured on the runways of both Proenza Schouler and Prada’s fashion shows last year.  The elegant fashion accessory has also adorned the heads of entertainers Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Rita Ora, as well as Kate Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Herzigova, and Salma Hayek.
