AU REVOIR TO GRAND MUSÉE DU PARFUM

Saturday, July 7th, 2018

Paris’ Le Grand Musée du Parfum closed its doors for the last time over the weekend.  Described as a “world of sensory experience, emotion, and enjoyment, offering an original, educational, entertaining, and immersive experience,” the elegant townhouse at 73 Faubourg Saint-Honoré (also known as Moreau-Nélaton) offered visitors an innovative, three-part sensory tour including:  perfume stories and histories, sensory immersion, and the art of the perfumer.  Funded in part by International Flavors and Fragrances, the museum opened in December of 2016.  Providing no reason for its closure, its website simply says, “permanently closed.”
