Kate Hudson is known for her effortless beauty. This week she looked radiant in a rose gold ensemble, while attending the opening of the new Tiffany & Co. store in Beverly Hills. Makeup Artist Debra Ferullo trusted LORAC Cosmetics to create Kate’s bold-eye look. “When I saw Kate’s rose gold outfit, I thought it would look beautiful with a bold eye and lots of lashes. I decided to keep the lip soft and the skin luminous. I recently came across an old photography book featuring photographer David Bailey’s work and I incorporated some of that inspiration into this look.”
For Kate’s dewy complexion, Ferullo first applied LORAC SHEER POREfection Foundation. Then she gave her a luminous dusting with the brand’s PRO Contour Palette and POREfection Baked Perfecting Powder. To highlight Kate’s face, she applied LORAC Color Source Buildable Blush in Prism (a matte peach) to the highest parts of Kate’s cheekbones and Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in Daylight (a soft gold) to below her eyes, brow bone, and forehead.
To create Kate’s bold eyes, Ferullo used assorted earthy colors from LORAC’s Mega PRO Palette 3 and lined the top and bottom lash lines with Front of the Line PRO Eye Pencil in Black. To complete the look, she applied several coats of PRO Lash Pomade Mascara and PRO Brow Pencil in both Blond Light Brown for well-defined brows. Finally, Ferullo chose two shades of LORAC Alter Ego Lipsticks, Duchess and Socialite, topping them off with some Alter Ego Gloss in Duchess.
