In December
we shared that Madonna’s eponymous beauty line, MDNA Skin, would be coming to America.  Now we have a specific date:  September 26th!  “I’m tired of hearing people complain here that they can’t get it in America,” Madonna explained in an interview with WWD, “It’s a line I can use every day. Some things I use when I don’t wear makeup and am not doing shows, and others are specifically good for having to apply makeup and be on stage under lights.…I developed it for me specifically, but it also feels universal. I mean, my children use it, my friends use it.”  Madonna collaborated with Japanese parent company, MTG, on the line, which was previously only available in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

“I use the eye masks, I throw them in the freezer so they are icy cold. I sleep on my face so when I wake up my eyes are always puffy so I really need them. I put them on for a couple of minutes before I get out of bed. As they thaw out on your face, the ice aspect reduces inflammation and the serum has the hyaluronic acid in it. These are simple things. You can get on with your day and use them all,” said Madonna.

Products coming to America include the infamous Rejuvenator Set ($600), which includes a Chrome Clay Mask with a removal and penetration device (something resembling a magnet).  Less pricey items include The Eye Mask ($50 to $120), The Face Wash ($50), and Mask Remover Sheets ($12).  Initially, the line will only be available in-store at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills and on Madison Avenue, but it will also be found on and

Madonna has joined the droves of women “freeing the nipple” in the upcoming issue of Vogue Italia.  Shot by Steven Klein, the polaroid issue features a YSL-clad Material Girl, leaving little to the imagination.  Thanking Franca Sozanni, the publication’s late editor-in-chief who passed away following a year-long illness in December, not only for her contributions to the World Of Fashion but for “encouraging strong Independent Women to take risks!”  Madonna’s big reveal is one of three covers shot by Klein, hitting newsstands later this month.

Channelling her inner-Material Girl, Paris Jackson, 18, made her modeling debut for French fashion house, Chanel.  The editorial campaign features Ms. Jackson in the arms of WWII-era allied troops.  Waving both American and French flags, the platinum blonde daughter of Michael Jackson is seen wearing a sheer white long-sleeved blouse with a coordinating pencil skirt.  Is it the many references to a 1980’s-era Madonna that has tongues wagging?  Or is it her clearly visible nipple piercings which are garnering the most attention?
