Golden Globe Award winner, Nicole Kidman, stunned throughout the evening with her tousled up ‘do and her drop-dead Givenchy gown.  Makeup artist, Angela Levin was inspired by “power, unity, strength and elegance,” when crafting the Big Little Lies star’s look. “This award was not about the dress or the makeup or the hair, but the beauty of unity,” she explained.
Levin chose products from Neutrogena, including the brand’s Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream to first prep the skin.  Then she applied Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, Brightening Eye Perfector, and Blush in Rosy.  Using the line’s Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-inPrimer and Eye Liner, she focused on defining Kidman’s eyes.  To complete the look, Levin choose the new Hydro Boost Plumping Mascara and Hydrating Lip Shine.  The hero product?  “I was thrilled to receive the new Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine colors from Neutrogena,” Levin shared.  “Both Nicole and I immediately felt drawn to Pink Mocha which is very similar to a natural lip color but worthy for a Golden Globe night.”

As Nicole Kidman received her first Emmy Award for her work in HBO’s Big Little Lies, the statuesque beauty and Neutrogena Brand Ambassador delivered a gracious speech with an important message on domestic violence.  Kidman glowed throughout the evening with her  radiant, dewy, porcelain skin.  Makeup artist, Angela Levin, helped enhance her complexion with a mixture of Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream and Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen, with Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint in Natural Ivory applied on her face and eye lids with a foundation brush.  Levin kept Kidman’s eyes “defined but as muted as possible,” using used three colors  from the Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-in Primer in Classic Nude palette, but put the emphasis on Kidman’s lips.  Using the brand’s Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment as a primer, she applied Chanel Rouge Charnel from Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick with a small dab of Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine in Velvet Wine to add sheen in the middle of the bottom lip.  The combination was simply dazzling!

The 2017 Emmy Awards were marked by a return to Hollywood glamour.  While Stephen Colbert’s musical opening number entertained us and Sterling K. Brown’s speech moved us, the red carpet’s elegance really wowed us with exquisite hair, makeup, and wardrobe.  Some of our favorite looks came from (clockwise from top left) Zoë Kravitz in Dior Haute Couture, Michelle Pfeiffer in Oscar de la Renta, Nicole Kidman in Calvin Klein by Appointment, Susan Kelechi Watson in Christina Ottaviano, Jessica Biel in Ralph & Russo, Evan Rachel Wood in Jeremy Scott for Moschino, Thandie Newton in Jason Wu, and Yara Shahidi in Prada.  Which were yours?
