Continuing their collaboration (originally announced in January 2018), John Varvatos and musician/actor, Nick Jonas, have released a new men’s fragrance, JV x NJ.  JV x NJ is motivated by the signature style of John Varvatos’ designs. The scent begins with a clean, watery freshness, while its heart contains aromatic notes combined for masculine comfort and a touch of nostalgia. Rich and diffusive sandalwood brings contrast and anchors the fragrance with transparent warmth.

“Working with John has been such an incredible experience,” said Nick Jonas. “His knowledge and passion for fragrance were eye-opening and infectious. We wanted to create something that not only spoke to us but also represents guys today who can do it all.”  The signature flask bottle is painted with a custom pearlized midnight-blue lacquer to produce a classic, yet edgy finish. The gunmetal dog-tag and hex-nut cap engraved with JV x NJ adds a nod of rock-n’ roll, that is an aesthetic deeply rooted within the John Varvatos brand.

Available at John Varvatos and Nordstrom now and expanding to retailers nationwide in Fall 2018, JV x NJ joins the Revlon and John Varvatos Fragrance portfolios as the first collaboration scent for the global brand.

Global pop icon, Britney Spears, has partnered with Revlon to launch her latest gender-neutral fragrance, Britney Spears Prerogative.  The olfactive statement, composed of pink pepper, espresso and amber wood with exotic drops of Latex Petals and Red Calla Lily, aims to exude authenticity and individuality.  However the refreshing, fruity top notes and warm, woody base form a dichotomy. Like the fragrance, the bottle is a hybrid shape composed of sharp edges and soft, rounded corners that reflects the contrasting sensibilities.

The Prerogative campaign gives fans unprecedented access to different sides of this ever-evolving performer, while highlighting her strong, romantic, and fun-loving nature.  “Prerogative is all about empowerment and confidence—we all deserve to feel free and fierce,” shared Spears who began her fragrance endeavors in2004 with Curious.  Prerogative is now the entertainer’s 24th scent.

“The Britney Spears fragrance portfolio evolves with each new scent,” said Ron Rolleston, EVP Global Fragrance Marketing, at Revlon. “With this campaign, we showcase the confidence, versatility and individuality that Britney has demonstrated throughout her career … From design to scent to campaign concept, Prerogative is all about pushing boundaries.”  The fragrance will be available at Walmart in-stores and online nationwide in July and at Kohl’s in August.

Revlon announced on Wednesday that Mette Towley, renowned dancer and performance artist, is joining the Revlon family as a new Global Brand Ambassador. Towley, known for her viral and dynamic solo in N.E.R.D’s “Lemon” video, is the latest to represent the brand’s new Live Boldly campaign launched earlier this year.
