Revlon Inc.’s 2017 year-end reports revealed that the beauty company sustained more than $183 million in losses, in great part due to its 2016 acquisition of Elizabeth Arden, Inc. for $870 million.  Yet, 2017 sales were up by 15.4 per cent.  The company has been beleaguered by restructuring costs and management shake-ups.

According to a report in WWD, Revlon said it “continued to accelerate the realization of synergies and cost reductions on the restructuring and integration of Elizabeth Arden, delivering $69 million of synergies and cost reductions for the year.”  Former CEO, Fabian Garcia stepped down from his position in January, serving fewer than two years on the job, handing over the company’s reins to board member, Paul Meister, as interim Chief.  Currently Revlon is on the hunt for its next Chief Executive Officer.

Actress Gal Gadot stunned Sunday night at the 90th Academy Awards in a glittery Givenchy gown, styled by Elizabeth Stewart.  While getting glam with makeup artist, Sabrina Bedrani, and hairdresser, Mark Townsend (above), the actress and presenter posted a brief video on Instagram.  “Read my lips💋,” she wrote.  “Tonight is the night! Good luck to all the nominees! I’m so excited to be up on stage to honor tonight’s winners.”  
       Bedrani used Revlon products on the Wonder Woman and brand Ambassador, including ColorStay Makeup (applied with the Original Beautyblender), ColorStay Pressed Powder, PhotoReady Sunlit Dream, ColorStay Creme Eyeshadows, the new Mega Multiplier Mascara, ColorStay Overtime Lip Color, and Gadot’s signature Super Lustrous Lipstick in Bombshell Red.  To keep Gadot’s complexion fresh and shine-free, Bedrani blotted with Tatcha Japanese Beauty Papers.

Revlon, Inc. announced that it has signed an exclusive global license agreement with contemporary fashion brand, AllSaints.  The partnership will develop, market, and distribute fragrances and ancillary products.  Established in 1994, AllSaints is a global, contemporary brand known for its iconic biker jackets.
