ReVealingOn Sunday night, some of Hollywood’s leading ladies took the plunge in stunning, decolleté-baring, gowns, as Awards Season finally drew to a close.  A-listers, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, and Brie Larson led the trend, which was quickly followed by Saoirse Ronan, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Garner, Olivia Wilde, and Margot Robbie.

Best Actress winner, Larson, shined in a ruffled blue Gucci “illusion” gown, adorned with a sparkly belt.  Blanchett’s ethereal look, created by Armani Privé, was intricately embellished with delicate, feathered, flowers.  Theron and Lawrence‘s gowns, by Dior Haute Couture, were equally show-stoppers.   Thank goodness there were no wardrobe malfunctions here.

NBC's "73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards" - Red Carpet Arrivals
People are still talking about actress Saoirse Ronan’s elegant red carpet Grecian hairdo, which gleamed with elements of gold threading.  According to celebrity hairstylist, Adir Abergel, “I loved how Saoirse’s Yves Saint Laurent dress was both romantic and modern at the same time – I wanted to bring in elements of the sleek, shiny and graphic lines to complete the look.”  Abergel shared his step-by-step so that all Undercover Agents could to Steal Saoirse’s Style!
  • Abergel prepped Saoirse’s hair by applying NEW John Frieda Luxurious Volume® Perfectly Full™ Mousse all over the roots.  He then created a part by following the highest arch in the brow, and dried her hair with a round brush.
  • Next, he flat ironed the ends, and tucked the deeply parted side of her hair behind her ear for a “clean look,” securing it with John Frieda Frizz Ease® KeraFLEX™ Flexible Hold Hairspray.
  • Creating some crisscross cornrow braids just below the ears, he wrapped them with gold thread, “to add some great architectural lines to the look.”  Once wrapped, Abergel again went over the back of Saoirse’s hair  with a flat iron, ensuring a “beautiful high finish.”
  • Abergel pinned the crisscrossed braids in place over the flat ironed hair, creating two gold lines.  To complete the look, he applied John Frieda Frizz Ease® Expert Finish™ Polishing Serum on the ends.
