In an unprecedented event, L’Oréal Paris hosted its first runway show, Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris, on the river Seine over the weekend. A wide audience watched the presentation from the Seine’s riverbanks, where spokespersons and models from different backgrounds appeared to walk over water (see below). Designed to bring fashion and beauty to an ever-wider audience from the heart of the French capital, Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris was also livestreamed to 30 countries.

Marking its second decade as the Official Cannes beauty partner at the 70th Cannes Film Festival, L’Oréal Paris inaugurates its free Outdoor Cinema to celebrate women in film with six of its ambassador actresses. The brand opens its Pop-up Boutique to all festival-goers, sharing its red carpet beauty looks under the new creative direction of global makeup director, Val Garland. This edition also welcomes the new L’Oréal Paris Global spokesperson, Elle Fanning, who makes her debut on the red carpet on May 17th.
